Israeli Military Says It’s Ready to Return to Ceasefire Enforcement
Israeli military ready to return to enforcing ceasefire in Gaza after Hamas violation. IDF responds forcefully to any breaches.
Jerusalem, 19 October, 2025 (TPS-IL) — The IDF (Israel Defense Forces) stated that, “in accordance with the directives of the political echelon, and after a series of significant attacks,” it began enforcing the ceasefire in Gaza once again after it was violated by the terrorist organization Hamas on Sunday.
“The IDF will continue to enforce the ceasefire agreement and will respond forcefully to any violation of the agreement,” it said.
Hamas fired an anti-tank missile and gunfire toward israeli soldiers in the Rafah area of southern Gaza, sparking retaliatory airstrikes, the Israel Defense Forces.
