Israeli military Chief of Staff conducts second strategic readiness review to assess IDF's operational preparedness in multiple theaters.
Jerusalem, 11 August, 2025 (TPS-IL) — Israeli military Chief of Staff Lt. Gen. Eyal Zamir held a broad situation assessment on Monday to evaluate the Israel Defense Forces’ operational readiness across multiple theaters. The meeting, the second in a planned series, is part of a diagnostic process for shaping a new multi-year plan while combat continues in all sectors.
Senior officers reviewed the IDF’s preparedness for multi-theater scenarios, force-building direction, training, and operational standards. Zamir emphasized returning the IDF to “the basics” in planning and readiness alongside ongoing wartime operations.
