Jerusalem, 9 February, 2026 (TPS-IL) — The Israeli agency COGAT (Coordination of Government Activities in the Territories: Judea and Samaria and towards the Gaza Strip) reported that over 65,000 trucks entered Gaza since the start of the ceasefire in October – of these more than 14,000 carried shelter equipment and more than 47,000 carried food.
Also, since the start of the ceasefire Gaza received over 620,000 tents and tarps, saw 64 humanitarian staff rotations, 12 evacuations of Gazans with dual citizenships totaling 1,526 evacuees, and 13 Medical evacuations totaling 1,392 evacuees.
COGAT also detailed the humanitarian efforts over the past week (1-7 February):
4,200 humanitarian aid trucks entered the Gaza Strip, according to the agreement. The trucks carried food, medical supplies and shelter equipment, based on the prioritization by the international organizations.
Close to 100 Gazans in need of medical care and their escorts exited Gaza (Feb. 2) through the Kerem Shalom Crossing into Israel and continued to the Allenby Bridge Crossing into Jordan.
Two rotations of humanitarian personnel by registered and approved organizations successfully completed.
Continued entry of tents and clothing as well as winterization efforts, in accordance with the plan formulated with partners at the CMCC. Over 620,000 tents and tarpaulins entered.
