Jerusalem, 13 July, 2025 (TPS-IL) — One month since Israel launched airstrikes on Iran, Irael’s Tax Authority has received 49,943 damage claims linked to ballistic missile strikes.
The majority — 39,093 — are for building damage, with thousands more for vehicles, contents, and equipment. Tel Aviv leads with 11,083 claims, followed by Ramat Gan (7,793) and Rehovot (4,286). Of the total claims, 29,117 were filed by individuals and 18,075 by businesses.
So far, appraisers have visited or processed 34,273 cases, and approximately NIS 305 million (nearly $92 million) in compensation has been paid. Many claims remain pending due to inaccessibility or missed appointments during site visits.
